combo figured out except for cam!!!
86 iroc 305 tpi 40k. i just got a deal on a complete accel intake, accel base, runners, ported plenum. i'm going to buy sr 305 heads and have them ported. my cam dilema is get a flat tappet comp energy cam 212/218 449/456 112. or get the retro lifters and go roller. zz4, crane 104224, or a comp. extreme energy cam. if money is not a factor would the roller cams be alot better than the flat tappet cam ive listed above. also would 24 injectors and a 52 mm t-body be ok with this combo. they came with the intake.thanks for any input

An Xtreme Energy hydraulic roller camshaft, springs and full roller rockers would be my recommendation. Keep the lobe separation angle at least 112 and the duration under 220@.050.
With a 305 - three-oh-five - I would no longer in duration that 212 to maintain some street manners; decent idle and vacuum for the power brakes).
There is a big difference in power from a HR compared to a flat tappet hydraulic. Well worth the extra cost.
Your TB is large enough for a 305 also.
Just my opinion.
