I couldnt find too much about running a 2004r with a tpi ecm. Anyone ever done this here?

Doing it now. IIRC the pins for the TCC are in different spots, but its pretty simple to change.

Oh yea, and there's no provisions for the VSS, so you need the kind that is mounted on the gauge cluster, not on the trans tailshaft.

Is the VSS something I can pull from the donor car. I think the Car is an 88 Monte SS.

Other way around, needs to be from an F-body. Yours might have that type anyway, depends on the car and year.

I am using the original 200-4r in my 87' LS with the TPI setup and no issues at all. Did all the wiring splices at once, but it works just fine.

The VSS is the original one as well, mounted to the speedo....no provisions there. Everything works as it should.
