If you remove them all, you'll have a big vacuum leak, your engine won't run right and you won't be able to stop...

Car: C-20
Engine: 260 boat anchor Mexican 350 (crate) TPI (MAF)
Transmission: THM-400 I turn 3500 (which is where my pos engine's power starts droping off) at 80 I need a 4L80-E
I did that once just for fun on my MAF TPI while i was finnishing up the instalation if the injection. ;D
A 350 running at 250 RPM's and lean sounds interesting (Like it has a racing cam) but it is not an intelegent thing to do and will cause you all sorts of trouble if you can mannage to keep it running with that much of a vacuum leak.

So don't do it mmmmmkayyy. (I had to join in on the fun)

on second thought If you want/need to remove them, then use pluggs on your open vacuum ports (do not remove the one going to your brake's power assist unless you like using both feet on every stop)

Thats interesting... I've never seen an inverse vacuum leak that actually decreases RPM's...

There should be two vacuum lines coming out of a bundle back by where the heater hoses connect to the heater core... The longer one is for the heater control valve, and the shorter one is for the control doors...

on my 91 Firebird there is a small hard vacume line ran in with wiring harness along under the cowl on the passenger side.

Your TPI is a 91 which is MAP based My TPI is an 89 which is a MAF system that cannot determine if excess air is entering the system after the sensor so it acts opposite of your system that is vacuum based and can sense the leak. Either way it is bad to have a leak.

I was making fun of a typo, thats all... he meant 2500 RPMS... vacuum leaks increase rpm, not decrease, no matter what system you have... just a little humor thats all...
