vette heads on 305. pushrod length ect.

hey guys i jsut aquired a set of 90 vette aluminum heads. i assume my stock lenght pushrods will still work? i think longer ones are only needed with the roller cam which my 86 305 does not have. anyway i do have some stock pushrods out of a 95 Z28 that i can use if i need to. also if you guys ahve any other ideas or foresight of things i might run into let me know. i am also lookin for head gaskets and stuff

I have the 113 castings on my 305 and the pushrods are one of the few parts that I carried over when doing the rebuild. So to answer your question, the stock ones will work.

I like the heads. My compression is on the low side as I've build this around a supercharger. I did exhause, intake, cam, rockers, converter etc all at the one time. I hope to have dyno numbers of the car in it's N/A state soon.

As for problems, I didn't really have any.

I'll be installing my 113 heads on my 305 next month when i get my lt1 intake back.
running a NX262 cam w/ hooker 2460's, and probably a 2800 stall
we'll see how it goes.
