How much power do you think?
Well i'm pretty set on this set up. I know it isn't the best, but I mean its just something that I have to work with. And I just want to know if anyone has any rough Idea on what it could run Horsepower, and torque wise. ok here is the set up
1976 4 bolt main 350 block bored .030 over.
Speed Pro forged pistons.
Eagle I beam rods.
TPI intake off 89 IROC
L98 heads, will be ported, three angled, and other machining.(I wish I had the money for AFR's).
COMP CAM's Hydraulic cam. dur @.050 222/226, lift .464/.464...
Headman Shorty Headers in to custom Y pipe which flows into magnaflow dual out muffler.
MSD Coil, MSD super conductor 8.5 ignition wires....will soon have MSD 6AL.
Custom Computer Chip Burned by PCMforless.
Well if I can come up with the money I would like to Throw HSR on along with it. If I can't get the money for it. I will siamese my intake base, runners and port my plenum.
I know it isn't that great, but I mean thats really the best I could do. besides I wanted to put an engine together. It may not be what I would like but I hope its more than a stock L98 like I have right now. Thanks for you thoughts guys!!!!

You really think I could get that much power out of it? Why do you think so??? I am just curious about it.
what kind of porting should I do or have done. I would like to do it myself. But I bet a shop would be better than me doing it. If it isn't that hard, are there tutorials on how to do it or anything? I'm interested on learning how to do it? But I don't want to mess up these cylinder heads that I will be using.

DD2000 numbers, they will be close. If you are going to port them yourself then know off about 30 HP and 40 TQ, maybe more.

DD2000, is desktop dyno 2000. As far as porting, it's expensive, and most people don't know how to do it right.
Roller tipped rockers give some advantage the real plus is decreased wear on the top of the valve stem. They are usually higher quality than stock so they don't flex and the ratio is correct. Also they will decrease side loading of the valve which increases valve guide life.
I'll figure up what you get without porting later, no time right now.

Yeah I have a 5-speed, and If I get the job that I'm trying to get I will get a T-56. I just hope I get between 330 and 350hp with 400 something torque!!!

WallyZ/28, if you had 350 HP and 480 TQ then I'm assuming this is the calculated number at the flywheel and not at the rear wheels. Changing to an automatic won't change the flywheel numbers. If you are saying you made 350 HP and 480 TQ at the rear wheels, then that's great numbers. Expect it to drop about 5 to 7 percent due to the automatic.

yeah that was at the rear wheels....the only reason i went to an auto this time was i didn't want to sink anymore money in my t5....i blew 3rd gear out the first time at the track last year.the 350horses and 480 tq were with my last engine setup....but i doubt i have that much now anyways......don't get me wrong...my car feels pretty strong and roasts the tires at 30mph....but i just don't know since i added the runners and hot cam and throttlebody.......i also have a msd 6al since my last visit to the track

hey warbird.....I had to cancel out the heads that I orinally had planned. They were 305 heads..I found out it wasn't a 350 L98 instead it was a 305 LB9....It was kinda a wierd thing, seeing the guy told me it was a 350. I think he just mixed up. I don't really care. HAHA
So I had a set of 14102193 heads sitting around that I had a machine shop port and polish them for my truck awhile back...what do you think I will run with those heads on????

No they are 350 heads....and I put them on my 355 engine....I just wonder what how they will effect my engine compared to the L98 heads. Which I don't have. But that was the plan, but It turned out I had a 305 in my car instead of a 350. So I had to resort to the other 350 heads I had lying around.
