I'm supposing you are going to port it yourself. It's very easy to do. You probably won't be able to notice any difference but there is, just hard to tell if anything increased without being dyno tested.

not sure that would do much by itself

boring the plenum alone my not do much by it self. if u do this i would say get a nice set of semiseeded runners and an air foil. your best be would be and intake manifold and runners kit. i know edelbrock use to make one. that will really maximize air flow. top it all off with a nice filter or dare i say a cold air kit then youll feel a difference. at least 1 or 2 seconds off your quarter

Attack the intake as a whole..cold air/ported plenum/airfoil
ported maf sensor if you have one....is where you see good gains .2-.3 tenths...

no, i mean seconds

seconds, not tenths. remember its not what one little mod will do, its how a bunch of little mods work together. it also depends what size engine you have. a 350 will respond better to these mods than a 305. boring the plenem alone will probaly give you better throttle response though. what im saying is if you bore it, to make full use of that mod you must get more air to it with a nice cold air intake kit and filter. and you might want to get a nice set of runners too, because if you dont youll create turbulance if the runner dont match the new diameter of the plenum, likewise with the stock intake manifold. if the new runners are bigger in diameter where it meets the intake that will result in turbulance. in a nut shell you want the air to flow smoothly and you want that air to be cool. all of these mods will give you at least 1 to 2 seconds if you running a 350 with a decent exhaust.

Umm...1-2 seconds huh? How come there aren't a million 12 second thirdgens out there with "basic" work done to the intake?

.2-.3 sounds about right. Maybe a little more if you have an engine that could really use the extra air flow.

TPIS says their runners are good for about 25hp and 30lb/ft with port matching on the plenum, and base. But then again, those numbers are directly from TPIS for their own product, so I won't vouch for their integrity.

lol, I didn't wanna make anyone feel stupid, but apparently people still think some porting will drop them 2 whole seconds. The number after the . is a tenth of a second.... Take a stock L98, running maybe 14.3, drop it 2 seconds by this logic, and you are now running 12.3??? No, 1-2 tenths, 14.1 ish, yeah that sounds better...

You've been watching too much Super2ner TV, and/or Tuner Trasformation

Purplebird as it was said it's not one mod it's the whole.any engine will benifit for an increase in air flow.the faster you can get the air in the better.just don't expect a whole lot.
