As the governator would have said, "Ah'll be bach", with the results later this afternoon. Heck, I might even take a couple of videos and post them too, thanks to my new digital camera. I might need some help with that though, I haven't posted a vid. before. Wish me luck.

Well guys, here's how it went down. Me and my dad both had are cars dyno'd. After all, I only got one good run and my dad got two, because the tach hookup on the dyno wasn't working the other five pulls, so I just said, "That's it". Another problem or should I say two were the dynojet had a glitch in it's software, so the graphs were all messed up and I don't have the rpm's where my peaks occurred. The other problem was the wide band was messed up at this shop.
Jeff, the technician was a great guy and you could just sense his frustration as much as ours. He was truly dissappointed that we couldn't get any more runs on mine after I played with the FP and the timing. Anyway I do have a good baseline and I'm sure 400rwhp is right around the corner, when I get my overly rich problem figured out. The other figures were from my dad's camaro that's messed up, cause it only put 256rwhp down. My car was so rich that it was backfiring out the exhaust as the rpms started to decline, so it was definitely dumping gas in. I've got a video, so I'll post it later.

Great numbers for no tuning dude. I bet you pick up a decent amount once you get it tuned right. Congrats!!!

Here's a pic of the car...If anyone wants me to email you my video so you can post it I can do that let me know. The car sounds wicked that's the main reason I want to post it.

Sounds like you are heading in the right direction. I am guessing mine will be right in the same neighborhood as yours when it is all said and done. I don't have as much compression as you though (10.7:1) so it might be closer to the 525 figure, but I am also a bit optimistic as the CNC'd Brodix Track 1 heads have some crazy flow numbers (beat AFR 210s throughout all lift levels).
I'm screwing around with my PROM right now and I seem to be chasing my tail some but I hope to get to the dyno within the next couple of weeks once the part throttle stuff is all dialed in. I've got an LM-1 wideband O2 and for some reason it is telling me that my car really likes to just sit around 14.0:1 at idle and part throttle and it isn't real happy about moving from there - regardless of what I change in the .bin. Kind of weird really.... never had this problem before. I'm going to get a fresh copy of the Super AUJP .bin and start over from scratch just to make sure I don't have some weird stuff going on with my file, but if this condition continues I am going to have to get some help with tuning this....

Thanks for the reply, Matt. I try and keep up w/your web page to see how the car's doing. Yeah, your heads are awesome, but I know mine aren't exactly a bottleneck since they were ported by TEA and flow 300 cfm.
I think you'll be at 400rwhp easily since you're familiar with chip tuning. I'm hoping to be there as I've done some research and found out my car's knock sensor is throwing a code, even on my dyno run, so the computer is in effect retarding timing between 7-11 degs all the time, so there's no risk of danger to the engine. Right now my car is at my friends awaiting some battery cables, since the positive grounded and nearly burnt my car to the ground. I'll have him check out the knock sensor problem then, but I'm almost sure that the ks wire got toasted by the header. I'll see in a few days, but I do believe that this spark retard is what kept me from my 400rwhp mark.

The 386/383 were the corrected numbers on the stock converter. It went 408/405 uncorrected. But when the Vig was a 4,000 it went 350/450 corrected with about 10.0:1afr if I remember correctly. There is a lot more left. Plus the head flow more towards the nitrous side than the NA side. I will say 430/460 when all said and done. It will be a monster. Low elevens at 123+ for sure.

Hey Brett, thanks for the kind words. I've been wanting to say that I'm sorry for talking all that smack a few months back, but I'm sure you know know how I felt after what happened. I almost got into a fist fight with the old man over the whole ordeal, if that tells you how pissed I was. Hope there's no hard feelings, I still got a deal on the car considering everything. I'll let you know how it turns out performance wise.
No hard feelings here man. I kind of ended up in the same situation with the 69. It turns out that it has a bent frame. No big deal but I should have checked it out better but I got excited and am paying the price now. The funny thing is that some one worked on the frame to get it straight enough to sell. They carefully painted it and every thing. So he can't say he didn't know about it. But oh well, live and learn. I hope the car treats you as well as it did me now that you have every thing worked out. It will have to run better if all that stuff was corrected that you said was messed up. Good luck and keep us updated. I just want to see you best my old times.
