injector resistance

Hey guys, just brought home an 89 GTA. The usual issues with the hatch pull down motor, coolant fans and rough idle. Im in the process of checking the injectors and the Haynes manual I have specs 11.0 - 14.0 ohms and I'm getting 17.9 -18.1 on all 8 of them. They couldn't all be bad and this close could they? I'm wondering if the manual is incorrect. Awsome site btw. Thanks.

Your injectors are all good if the resistance is that high. According to the Gm service manual, you should have a minimum of 10 OHM's or more at each injector.

My stock injectors in my 91 z28 350 are 16.4 ohms to 16.8.

I bought an injector to replace an old one, and it's running at a lower resitance than the rest of mine (all others are around 18 and the new one is close to 17). is this a bad thing? Would it cause missing and poor running? How do you fix something like that???

It will be fine as is and if it was bad the only way to fix it is to replace it.

So if the resistance was way off the acceptable range it would have to be replaced?

Yes, say like down below 10 OHM's.
