Which One Would you use

ok I am looking at a couple intake elbow's to use to make the custom Air intake I am working on. I elbow will eventually have a tapped nut welded to it so I will have a good mounting solution for the Hitman EFI Nitrous Nozzel. I like the Vortech because it looks to be Beefier but not sure what that divider is for. The Trick Flow one is ok. I know most of the replies will say Make your own, which is a option but if you were going to get one which one would you get and why. Also these say that they mount to a LT1 Throttle Body, will they also mount to a TPI throttle body.

VORTECH

TRICK FLOW

The divider is more or less probably designed to act as an airfoil would..

I would go with the Trickflow because it doesn't have the divider. I can't see how that is going to help any. If anything, I think it will hurt.

The divider splits the airflow stream so that it doesn't get crammed up along the outside wall. Id go with the vortec.

If you want to introduce turbulance into the system to disrupt the viscous drag along the wall, dimple the wall, don't disrupt the flow in the middle.

well the Trick Flow One is probally the way I will go, I am not a big Fan Of shiny Objects, but it comes in Black Powder coated, Polished or Creamic Coated. I think the divider in the Vortech Would cause problems esspically if there is a space between the end of the divider and the Air Foil, plus it would probally interfere with a Nitrous Nozzel. Even though it is designed for a LT1 TB It will still fit a TPI throttle Body Correct?
