TPI get together.....inside..

Hey guys, Im trying to organize a TPI only event somewhere in the midwest probably next spring. I think the TPI is one of the best motors ever made and would like to have it showcased all in one place. Anybody interested?? Im thinking of having an event where ANY car, truck or van, etc with a TPI motor could join......Lemme know if you all are interested and where might be a good middle point to meet. Thanks in advance......

I think its a cool idea, and hope you can pull it off, because im sure there will be some logistical problems. As for location, Indiana is the home of Lingenfelters shop Maybe you could get them involved somehow. I know they have moved on to bigger and better things, but they are a big part of TPI performance history.

Well, I spoke to Lingenfelter and they would be interested. Id like to find a bunch of vendors like ACS to come and show everybody whats available for the 3rd gen still. Im hoping to keep the hot rod hobby alive and well, even though the TPI and camaro are gone......Talk to everybody you know, see how many people we can get to do this......

Don't forget that the Bird is dead as well. Can't forget the Birds.
Sounds good. I would go. Our generation is not a favorite in the hot rodders eyes, this would be a good way to show that it is along with the TPI actually being a good platform to build on! I say lets do it.

Sounds like a great idea! I'd love to show up with my laptop-tuned, TPI350, '64 Jeep pickup.

And if it's not until spring, maybe the TPI swap will be done by then.
