Maybe a bit more info is needed here.

Are you saying that you are planning to put L98 heads on a stroker motor?

Those heads wont flow the best, stick a hot cam in there for now. Maybe a ZZ4.

I'm guessing they are aluminum L98's? If so, why not sell them to help pay for the stroker?

Compared to what? If he is going to keep it under 200 runner volume those are hard to beat. If he goes over 200 than they can easily be beaten. More info is needed.

Are they aluminum or iron L98 heads? I just wouldn't want that little LB9 over-cammed. It'll be a bitch to tune.

The hotcam isn't a good choice for the LTR TPI ( if you are keeping the long tube runners) . I tops out 2300 rpm above where that infernal TPI wall is .... the zz4 may be a better choice ....but there are better ones too . Just call compcams ....tell them what you got and, they will give you a good recomendation. Just be carefull what you ask for . Some ask for the biggest cam ...and wonder why it idles crappy
