yeah would a larger throttle body give me more horsepower gains? and would i have to get a new intake to fit around it?

If you have a different or totally modded intake it might help a tiny bit. The stock elbow will fit up to 58mm, the outer diameter stays the same when they are bored...

It has been said that a larger throttle body will actually hurt your idle quite a bit. But, others say it has helped them. It would depend on your engine. I agree with Red Devil though. You will not feel the improvement driving. The real improvemnet will be the aesthetical part under your hood.
