I'd be extremely surprised if that didn't get you deep into the 12s on good tires

If I can get the car to hook and if I learn how to drive I should be able to hit low 13's with just a 96 LT1 cam and all the other lil sh<x>it I've done. So far the best that the IROC has ran is 13.7@103.xx

Some of your prices seem off.

I'd tune you rown chip.

I'm in the process of rebuilding my engine right now. My long block cost $3500 for parts and machine work. (only thing re-used was the block itself).
I dunno what ET it will run cuz I use street tires, but I'm guessing around 130mph in the 1/4. Prolly 10.99 or so on slicks .

ok what if i did all those mods ive listed but instead dont get the roller rockers forget about the tires unless you can tell me a tire that has great traction but yet that can drive in the snow ok and the other good stuff like threadlike and daily driven but can be driven hard on the street i can also get the HSR for lik 650 instead of 800 do you also jumping from 3.27 gears to 3.42 gears would justify 300 dollars how much track time would you think i would gain by doing it so with all that said do you still think i can go in the low 13s without the rollor rockers and without some slicks oo yea that now puts me at about 4100 dollars without tires which is about what i wanted to spend on the performance of my car and get low 13s so with this setup you think i ll have my goal thanks

If you do some smart shopping, you should be able to save a little more money.

IMO, dont get a SLP exhaust, goto a muffler shop and let them do a setup for you. You'll probably save money on just that. $300?

I am running a L98 Corvette torque converter which stalls at about 2400 in my car. $100 from a transmission shop.

HSR is about $550-600 from summit.

LT1 injectors are 24lb I think. Ebay or junkyard.

Dont change your gears. Youre not going to notice a huge difference.

As for emmissions, youre on your own. In florida there is no testing.

Supposedly, the BFG KDWS is pretty good.

A couple years ago I had real bad leaking valve seals. I bought a set of edelbrock aluminum 2.02 heads with 64 cc chambers and ran 13.30's with the rest of the bottom end of my motor bone stock. The only other work I had done were all free mods.

Free mods :
Remove maf screens and aluminum fins in MAF.
Make a homemade cold air intake with 3 inch vent tubing & k&n air filter.
Remove aluminum material behind throttle body blades. With air grinder or dremel tool.
move intake air temp sensor infront of the throttle body.

other things that could contribute to better time would be a fuel pressure regulator.
a tune up with better wires than stock and better coil.

I ran my 13.30 with bfg drags I still had some tire spin but a whole lot less than with a street tire. You have to invest in some sticky tires first or your never going to know the potential of your car in the 1/4.

Good advice. I am constantly fighting with the ****ty BFG Radial TA's for traction.

In those 10 threads, have you included a single punctuation mark or capital letter?

Thats a negative ghostrider. The HSR is a non-emissions manifold. It was designed off of the tunnel ram for carburetors, which was never meant to be emissions compliant.

they live in states that don't require you to have emissions inspections or they are strictly race cars that dont have to pass anyways.

Here in Texas they test your exhaust gasses and look under the hood but really dont know what there looking at most of the time. All there main concern is that it passes the emissions part not the intake brand or style.
Theres always a way to pass an in$pection.
