Hawks Ram Air Kit

How good is it? I have been wanting to possibly buy it this week but I wanna know if anyone on here has it and if so did you feel a difference with it on the highway and at the track. Or maybe I could go for the SLP CAI and spend a lot more for it but I am leaning towards the Ram Air Box(s)only because I like the way they look and even if I get less HP with it, I am hopeful it will still add some decent horses. Thanks.

I belive that the ram air box you are refering to needs "the ram air 2 hood" to work, it wont eaven fit under your stock hood. So be shure to ask Hawks about it before you spend the money.

Well this is just for the metal box(s). The one that grabs air from behind the fog lamps. It can be used with the Ram Air air box & filter but it may also be used using the stock air lid.

I wish i was still working in sheet metal. I could turn out 5 of those an hour. Proably more...Just cut them out on the bandsaw, run them thru the pittsburg machine, couple hems, hammer them together. probably have to roll the back/front side to get good air flow. so easy to make. Nothing more than and elbow with flanges.

Thanks guys. Well I did make my own ram air with dryer hose and a few bolts nothing fancy but whatever. I need to make the box(s) when I got some free time. We'll see what happens. Thanks for the info fellas.
