Rough Idle

I have a brand new engine 174 miles. The cam is a custom grind and loves rpm above 2000. It will jump around when in park which I expected. However when sitting at a stoplight in gear it almost stalls out.

Will a custom ship help the idle?

Burning a custom prom would be the best. But if you need a temorary solution turn the screw and raise the idle speed enough to keep it running

double, tripple check for vacume leaks.. last time i tore into my motor for mods, and it didnt idle, it was vacume leaks runner to base runner to plennum etc. i used carb cleaner to find mine.

I've been thinking about burning a chip, but I won't be able to work on the car for a while, it's in storage now, (Iowa winter).
