TPI manifold replace
I'm looking at something I can't jinx at present mentioning, but my top end TPI 350 is leaking and while going in to replace the gaskets, I'm thinking over maybe replaceing the original manifold with one I saw online. The model is a 90 or 91 and my car is a 1989 Formula. Can they be directly swapped? The seller says they are good back to 1987 models I think

Well without mentioning it to us we can't give you a definitive answer.
Most baseplates for TPI are drilled to fit both style heads and have the appropriate ports for the various years needs. Don't know what you are looking at.

I think it was a 350 and not the 305, which worries me more, but as far as I know, I'm still in the running for it, so mums the word, but while doing gaskets, thought that might make a great mod, replacing the whole manifold as well

Sometime today, I'll know if I got this piece, but just checked, and little/no detail is given on it's history but it was sandblasted and looks great. I think I can link the pic>
I'm actually surprised I still have my bid on it

At $42.67 you're getting ripped for a stock intake. Here's one for only $6.50 here.

Mine has a bad leak and it's loaded with gunk under the plenum, looks like a mouse nest under there, I'll get some pics when I can... Lost the auction that was viewed by 450 people. Yeah, it was about $56. I think in the stores they are certainly more then $100... I am a bit of a newb here though, it would be a first time repair on this engine.
