The FMS 24#/hr injectors are about $210 at Summit Racing. That is what I have been using for about 7 years now.

I have some accel 26# injectors sitting on the shelf. Never could get my car to start and run consistently with them so I bought 30# SVO's. Anyone want some 26# accels?

yep you'll find many people who dislike accells I was happy with mine until the took a crap on me a year after I got them but I guess they lasted longer than most on these boards

Im not to fond of putting ford stuff on my car(yes Im one of those people) so when it's time to upgrade I'll be getting something other than ford

[Morley] You are mistaken, Accel produces nothing but immaculate and superior injector sets. If you hear anything other than that ignore it, it is a lie or misinformation from ignorant children. [/Morley]

What I would like to know is how did your car react to a bad injector. I fired up my car with a brand new rebuilt 355 and all the mods in my signature. Yhe car ran smooth as silk. The the idle kept getting worse. I stutters a little bit like a mis. I am thinking that maybe this is a bad injector issue after checking a lot of other possibilities. The car deosn't want to start cold, I have to work the peddle until it warms up. Can anyone with a bad experiense tell me if they had smilar issues?

OK guys, do the Ford SVO's use the stock clips?

Also, guys are talking about LT1 injectors - any info?

I swapped a set of 23lb/hr rated Accel injectors in my high mileage car because the stock ones are old and not worth rebuilding...leaked, etc. Swapped the Accels in and took it to the track. Better throttle response, new best times in the 8th, car ran well...happy. After about 2 weeks...car starting missing/skipping some, and generally not running as well. Swapping plugs didn't help. Could smell gas so primed fuel rail, and discover that 2 of my Accel injectors were leaking FROM THE BODY. Sent them back to Jegs for refund. Car ran better with the old 200K mile stock injectors.

Just today, I'm putting Ford SVO 24# injectors in. They snapped in nicely, and fuel rail tightened down fine. I think over half of my stock injectors were leaking...but at least from where the fuel was supposed to come out.
