tpi rebuild help
I'm in the process of rebuilding my motor. I already have headers, 3.73 gear, chip.i will also be putting underdrive pulleys, msd box and coil on it. I'm getting rid of all the air and all the smog. i'm sticking with the stock heads. i will be putting the accel super ram on it. i will be port matching the heads to the intake and a 3 angle valve job. i will be getting them milled as well. I need a little help on choosing a cam. I want a noticble idle, but nothing to radical and i want a power range inbetween 2-5k. i will be having the block square decked and just honed out. i have a set of light weight corvette piston to go in it. all new seal and ring. So i need to know what cam and lifters to go with this setup amd anything else that you think i will need or need to change.
Thanks a lot

This will get you started.

Scroll down the page to their Extreme Energy camshafts about 1/3 of the way down the page and it lists camshafts for 305 and 350 engines. This will let you know the amount of lift, duration and lobe separation angle you should be considering. Then give them a phone call and discuss it with your mechanic.
