The pin locations on connectors C100 and C207 change from year to year in most cases, so it's likely that your '89 engine harness has pins in different places than your '90 chassis connectors.

Time to dig up wiring diagrams for both vehicles and start mapping and moving pins.

Matching the wires color to color is a good starting place. Not guaranteed 100% accurate but I'm seeing GM use the same or very similar color patterns for the various circuits.

I only have '82, '88, and '01 Helms manuals so I'm no help on diagrams for the two years you need. Maybe PM Trickster as he seems to have scans of some.

the camaro is originally a tbi car and we are going to tpi. is the camaro supposed to have speed density for tpi being it is a 90. if so would a S D harness fix this problem?

Go to your local public library and pull up a Mitchell systems diagram for both years.

Actually, pull out 3 schematics-

1 Your TBI year.
2 Your TPI year.
3 And what TPI would look like had it been on your car.

Now, what I would do is to gather up a couple of markers, highlighters, or colored pencils. Then, mark the systems that you share original connections with in dark black. Then mark what you did to change your harness in red. Leave what you haven't finished (or what is left to complete) in blue. You'll knock it out by process of elimination.

I don't have a "fix all" way to help you- but if you wire trace by harness matched to what you have done- your harness will be better than a run of the mill SD harness.

However, you may have missed a power wire or a ground to the computer. Are you flashing codes?

no code flash cause i haven't had it started. the tpi harness i am using at this time is from a 89 formula, (maf) the car won't do anything car will not turn over, fuel pump won't work nothing under the hood will work.. the onky thing that does is head lights, turn signals the items on the original harness of the camaro. anything on the engine harness side don't i do have the c100 diagram from the formula and camaro i see that there are several that are the same and several that are not. cause of the bird having headlight doors and such but i don't understand a damn thing about wiring
