no fuelpressure need help
Hi!
I was out for a drive at the wordslargets "big powermeet" in sweden and the engine stoped,it only runs at idle when i was open the trottle it just died.
Then it started for a short while but died again and after i got it home by lift i checked the fuel by loosing the fuelline before the tb and started, and it comes fuel, but i dont now if it getting any pressure,i cant get the fuelpressuremeeter to give any result.
So tomorrow i am going to check the fuelfilter. My questin are if there could be the fuelpump it self,it is just a year old,i alsoe have the bbk adjustebel fuelregulator and when i was dropping the fuelpressure the car get started but dies if i open the trottle, please help if you have any suggestions.
Thanks!!!

Attach a pressure guage to monitor fuel pressure, then adjust the regulator as necessary to reach 37 PSIG, +/- 3 PSIG (2.55 BAR, +/-0.2 BAR) pressure while the engine is running. If the pump cannot maintain 37 PSI, there may be a filter and/or pump problem, or possibly a regulator.

Thanks
I am going to remove the regulator becouse i have read that it could be a peace of gasket in the regulator which is blocking the fuel.

Hi!
Ok today i have removed the incoming fuelline and i can hold my finger on it and the pressure dont seemes to bilding up any power, so tomorrow i am going to order a new intank fuelpump from holley that can get up to 90psi,not that i need it but you dont wont to drop the tank every day.
I will also install the holley fuelpressure regulator becoue it semes to be easier to adjust.
I cant think that it can be anything else anyway, can you?
Thanks!!

I am just going to tell you what cause the problem. It was the short rubber fuelline in the tank between the pump and the hard lines that has a small crack in it,very hard to see, just to let you now.
Thanks all.

Thanks for the update. It's always good to get feedback about the solution.
I've had the same kind of problem occur. I trust your now adequate fuel pressure is allowing you to drive the car as it was intended.
