Well of course the crank will need to be changed and the rods+pistons. As for the intake it all depends how much $ u have. You can leave it stock and loose power or mod every part and gain tons and go with a bigger cam. Use the search feature, you will find tons of info on this.

I forgot to mention this is a 88 mod engine with MAF sensor..I also are running at a low budget so I cant afford expensive things on my engine right now.. Can there be any problem if I run my engine with a stroker kit? Do i need a bigger cam or can I use my stock cam?Sorry for asking so much but I am new at this and really want to know..I am going to buy me an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a air foil for my intake..I am running my engine with headers and no egr ...I will post a pic so you can see the car the engine is in...I know...its not a f-body

very nice car but if you are goin to stroke it and leave the rest factory youd be better off spending your money else where. invest in a good induction system or a nice set of heads. stroking a stock all around motor will be very dissapointing for you id think if that all your doin....just my two pennies tho.

True. Stroking is only good if you can spend good $ on the rest of the motor. If you give the motor the new stoke and pretty much leave the rest you are just gonna be starving the motor. Find someone with a similar setup to what you can afford and chances are you can make great power with what you have and new heads/induction like was stated in the post above.

Maybe you should find out how much power you want, and what you can spend, also tell us what you currently have. There are plenty of guys here that will tell you how to get to where you wanna go. good luck and your car is not an f-body but who cares. IT LOOKS AWSOME bad ***

thanks for answers....What is the best buy in heads ? I have ca 1200$ I can use on my engine ..what else can I buy for good performance for my tpi engine.. I already have hypereuctic flat head pistons installed...I must buy a new crankshaft cause its in bad shape ,thats why I was thinking of stroking the engine,

a "decent" set of heads will be in the ballpark of 1000-1300$.. a good set will be 1300+

if you are looking for heads.. you NEED a better cam than the stock.. otherwise you're wasting your heads potential..

match the heads to the cam you want, so pick out a cam you want to use, what RPM range you want power.. then select a head that will work with it..

like the other guys said.. TPI is going to restrict you unless you use large mouth base and runners to get the flow.. otherwise you are restricted to a peak power of 4800rpms.. give or take.

so.. that being said 1200$ is a good start.. but to do it all correctly and have things work in harmony with one another.. start planning, then save for what you want...

better to wait and do it right, then to do it wrong and problem solve, tear it all out and start over..

TPI is hard. There is not a word of stuff out there unless you get an aftermarket lower intake, so u can use Vortec heads. If wanna make big power, the TPI is going to be your restiction, by far.

1) Sell "Rims"
2) Buy non-blingin ones for cheaper
3) buy heads
