car wontrun or idle

Ok, I removed my plenum and TB to clean them. I also changed my plugs. I got cought up with work, and the car sat for 6 months with less than 1/4 tank of gas. Well, I finally got time to work on her, so I put the plug wire one and bolted the plenum back on. After hooking up all the vacuum lines, I went to fire her up. She fires, but wont idle without dieing. I have to keep giving her throttle. I am not getting any codes, and I never touched the timing. She ran fine before minus the bad exhaust leak. I tried hooking up a vac gauge but since it wont idle, I cant get a good reading. Any idears?

Oh yeah, the motor shakes like crazy when I give it gas or when it attempts to idle. Didnt do this before.

fresh rebuild

mines doing the same thing on a fresh rebuild. i evidently have my egr block off plate on wrong and this is making 3,4,5,6 not fire due to no o2 because of bypass on the egr passages. could be the problem. not too experienced with the tpi but sounds like the same situation im in. might be a bad egr.

- sounds like a EGR screw up. - Sure you got the vac lines run correctly?(little one to it and the little one under the throttle body)

also, check ALL vaccum lines. should be 3 on the plenum(fuel pres. reg/supply for vehicle(a/c...)/brake booster), one little one under throttle body(egr solenoid), then the 2 on the side(coal canister/breather)

Checked the vac lines like 3 times to make sure they matched the diagram I had.

You sure no gaskets slipped while putting the plenum(etc...) back on? just sounds like it's got a vaccum leak...
