In 87 you could get TPI,TBI,or Carb in the V8 Camaros if thats what your asking. The top model was the 350TPI, next in line was the 305 TPI, then the 305 TBI cars and the 305 Carbed cars were not really considered "performance cars".

What about the L69 and LG5? L69 was offered when? LG5??? I know the LG5 was around in 87 a guy I knew in HS had one, and swore it would beat my TPI Iroc

Cool, that was a bad trade, the L69 was a decent motor and could be modded easily...the LO3...wellll...it takes quite a bit of work to make it run hard.

I remember the L69 was discontinued due to "fuel boiling problems". Well thats what GM said. It was a good motor I have a black 86 Iroc L69 with a 5-speed. [put in storage]
