Spray a 150 shot of NO2. Thats the only way you are gonna do it and stay mostly stock.

You can get SOME benifit from a cam swap, but you wont see anywhere near 350 horse. To be honest, if its a stock 85' LB9, there are alot better places to put your money seeing as the 85' TPI motors got a MUCH better cam to start out with.

I have always liked comp cams.....If you swaped your stock cam for a Comp cam you should be putting out around 245-250 at the engine.

yeah 350 out of a 305 will require alot of head work, full TPI port job or better yet, a aftermarket TPI setup or superram/hsr... basically alot of intake work. and a nice cam. then ur gonna need to tune it up.. which the 85 ecm i'm not sure is really a good ecm. might be better to swap to the later 89 ecm without cold start injector. its a better ecm.

something on the lines of a 219/219 lingenfelter on a superram or fully aftermarket TPI and ported heads or aftermarket heads

for mostly stock setup.. on a 85.. which i do believe is a flat tappet cam... try something with the intake/exhaust duration in the 210-216 / 216-220 range. a roller cam setup swap would be a good idea. a zz4 wouldnt be bad at all. but with a cam, ur still gonna have to tune it up.

with full bolt ons and a cam, maybe some head work too, i would say up to 275hp or so on crank

I say it would be cheaper to just drop in an LS1 350 crate motor. To get 350 hp out of an 85 305 will NOT be an easy job. FULL bolt ons, Exhaust/Runners/Intake/Filters/Chip/Ignition/Port job/Heads/Cam then a supercharger with a 6-8 boost will get you up there. Then you are going to have to think about a new tranny and suspension parts to handle the extra power.

How much are you looking to spend? How fast do you want to go? You don't need a 350 horsepower 305 to go fast. With just bolt ons you should be able to get your horsepower up in the ball park of 245-260. Those numbers will make a quick 305.

350hp needs heads and cam.. i doubt u will need boost on top of that...

i would just boost it period.... spend 3 grand a procharger and u got 350 easy. probly 400 and it should hold for a while under daily driving condtions. constant abuse and ur asking for abit of trouble but 350-400 crank hp on stock internals shouldnt be a problem at all.

350 hp on a 305.

First ditch the 305..
