So are you saying that you can't make 306 hp to the wheels and run 13.5s with a bolt-on L98, or are you just trying to start an argument?

My car is faster than your car...... BUT who really cares? No matter what you have someone will always have something faster.

Your car may be fast but until you have a burnout video with the vagina song you aren't cool as us.

I guess the trick would be to get 1.7 60' times while doing a burnout. That would be impressive!
Hey try this, spray the area where the rubber sticks to your fender with pam. It's MAGIC cleanup is a breeze!!

Yea someone else told me about the pam trick. I havn't tried it yet though. I'll take some with me next time I go to the track. I've heard that the rubber can actually get hot enough that it will bubble the paint when it comes off the tires but I don't know if that's true.

you guys do know what is the hardest on your cars drivetrain.

Juicing it off the line, unless you have a 4-bolt, H-beams, head studs, bulletproof 400 and a built 9 inch your drive train stresses out every time you twist it off the line.

How many of you can take it to 20 mph with a 305 a 700r4 and 2.73's and juice it and spin it through first chirp second and get a small chirp out of third(Z- pack and some special plug the trans guy put in my case along and blocking out the 3-4 accumulator hole).

This all done without spray or turbo or a charger. Stock heads. stock tpi.

I have had both engined s10's. I had the runty 2.2L 5sp which I burned a clutch and tranny, but did some decent burnouts and could chirp to 3rd, then I purchased my current monster, 98 4.3L 5sp with a 4.10 gearset. I can lay patches into 3rd and have chirped the tires at approx 105 into 5th on a cold day. I know the trucks are light on the back, but that is still impressive for a s10. Anyways, you all are probably wondering why I am even on this forum, I am looking at selling the dime for a third gen. I have been shadowing this site for awhile now and finally just joined today, I like what I see and could get used to this place.

- burnouts are NOT hard on you drivetrain, hooking up IS... why would it take a turbo 400/9inch rea/4-bolt block to spin tires or spray outta the hole? I'm running a 10-bolt(not even close to factory) 2-bolt main, was a 700r and hammering it into the 11's...and mine hooks HARD.

- P.S. - Crazy's video still rocks...

what kind of grade did you get in physics. Did you even take the class. the twist that is created on the take off when you hit the gas hard is very bad for your drivetrian.

Now if you think that it is good for it than I hope you enjoy taking out trannies and replacing u-joints and so on. all I am trying to say is that spinning your tires and launching your car hard on the street is for the birds.

If you are racing for money or other valuables then it might be worth it. just because you want to be cool sound like you are too rich to care about your drivetrain
