Computer Carb Return Line...

Are the fuel lines for the computer carbs big enough in diameter to work for TPI? I really don't want to drop the tank unless I absolutely have to.

Thanks!

The feed line is fine, but the stock return line is too small. I used the charcoal canister line instead as my return line, and then the original return line became my vent for the canister.

The vent line is larger? Did you have to drop the tank and swich the connections for the purge and the return?

just put in TPI fuel lines it's real easy and alot less hassle then messing with your carbed lines, the v-6 fuel injected or TBI 305 lines are all the same as TPI save yourself the hassles and find a set of fuel injected lines

I used the original carb fual supply and returns lines when I did the TPI converion on my 82 Bird that came with the LG4 engine. Never had a problem with it getting enough gas. I am running a 350 ci engine. I use an external fual pump located in the back.

My Monte originally came with a carbed L69, so I'm assuming the fuel lines are the same as yours. Yes, the vent line was 5/16", and the return line was 1/4", IIRC.

Good luck!
