AC delete on non serpentine 305 !?
ok, ok. I have done a search already, and I cant seem to find any answers for a non serpentine 305 tuned port injection. Everything seems to be for a serpentine driven IROC. Now, is that because it's as easy as just removing the belt and related items since there are other belts to drive the power steering and such? Or is this a little more involved? I would just want to get rid of the compressor and canister, just leaving thre box alone. Any and all thoughts are much appreciated.

I thank you very much for your quick response! It is very appreciated. I will be doing that tomorrow. Just out of curiosity, has anyone here done this yet?

Ive done it, just go to work and rip everything out.Took me a couple hrs or so.Theres not much to it. The only thing you need is a shorter belt for the crank/PS and if you want the heater to work get a heater box like stated above.

I am confused as to why I need a shorter belt for my ps and crank. Isnt there a belt that already drives them both?

you need a shorter belt if you wanna delete the smog pump on a serp car without using the delete pulley, maybe thats what youre thinking of

V belts setup are easier. Just remove the compressor and belt and all lines connecting to it, remove them.
If you can't find a non a/c box, if im not mistaken you can just remove the lines to the canister and plug that.

The a/c belt runs in the second groove on the power steering. It can be removed leaving one belt from the crank to the ps pump or replaced with a shorter belt to wrap the crank/wp/ps. The second belt just provides some back up in case one is lost/thrown/destroyed. Just cheap insurance.
I live in South Carolina. It's against the law to remove A/C down here.
j/k.
