I'm working on a 90 vette, it's running rich. The fuel injectors have purple tops on them and I can't recall seeing these before. Does anyone know what pound per hour these may be?

 

I saw an add that said the purple top injectors are Denso 550 injectors. I think they are used by the import/sport compact crowd. Unless of course they are Ford injectors. Blue=24s, red=30s, green=42s, not sure about Ford purple ones though, or, if they do exist. Maybe someone painted them?

 

Purple top from five-o-motorsports are 22lbs.I use these in my 89 GTA that's stock for a 350!Hpoe this helps.

 

Thought they were pink? I know we got a set from them which are suppose to be 22's and are pink.

OK then, maybe he has a set that WAS pink, but they discolored, from age? Just thinking out loud.

 

Are they this color or really dark purple ? These are the 22# SVO's as stated above.I swear I have seen dark purple ones also but can't remember where.

 

I know that 1990 deville cadillac injectors have pink bands on them,and they are bullet proof from the original ones.I do not know there flow rate though,but I am also disscussing a 4.5 liter.
