Distributor pickup! is this the culprit
OK i have a 1987 Pontiac GTA 5.7l tpi. It wants to surge when either in town or out on highway going about 55-65. when i first bought the car it surged about 600 rpms, it has a new tps, new MAF, new plugs, new wires, fuel system cleaner added also have added tranny additive and now it only surges about 200 rpms and was placed on computer and its not showing anything. Also when i stop at a light it fells like its pulling, and when cruising aroun it like kicks when it surges. it is getting really annoying but i dont know what it is. What do u all think. there are no vaccum leaks either it ONLY does it from 1300-2000 rpms
Any help would be much appreciated as this is my only vehicle.
