....for future reference, it's stamped on the intake manifold too.

 

LOL, next thing you know someone is going to set their firing order to the part number of the intake ;-)

 

well here is my story behind the firing order ..last summer my mas sensor went bad and i had all my tools under my hood so i just closed the hood without latching it and ran to the store.. when i got back to put the mas on the car would not start it was spitting and trying to start ,needless to say i had to have my friends come ober to help me push it into the garage i thought i fouled some plugs so winter was close so i said il leave it to next year well neat year is here and i started changeing plugs and iam looking at the firing order knowing it 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 i just asked to be sure ..and to my suprise someone must have got under my hood when i went to the store last year and changed the firing order on me so i changed it back and it started right up//(if i catch who was under my hood there gonna need a wheelchair when iam done with them ...and i live in a nice part of town so needless to say she runs fine and thanks guy for the answers

 

sorry if im intruding in here, i was wondering if anyone knows the firing order for a 91 Z28 TPI 5.0L, and position of distributor...

 

18436572 and rotates clockwise for the 1991 5.0L TPI Z28. I dont think they make a V8 without this firing order.

The new LSX motors have the old 4-7 switch.
