Throttle body help!!!!!!

Engine: 350
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.27
Throttle body help!!!!!!
I accindentally bought a 85-88 throttle body for my 89 formula, on which the throttle body is absolutely shot. Anyone have any suggestions on how to adapt the throttle cable for the different style linkage on the 85-88 tb? Thanks in advance.
