Tpi messed up after clearing codes

I have a 89 formula w/350 tpi, long tube headers, cai and afpr. I recently had a problem where the connection on the trans for the speedo came undone somehow and the speedo quit working, and it threw a ses light. I assumed this light was on because the ecm was not recieving any pulse from the vss. So I went ahead and reconnected the wire to the trans so the speedo would work, then I also disconnected the bat in order to clear this code - Well I waited about 30 seconds with the bat unplugged, then I reconnected it and went for a test drive. Now the car runs like complete crap! it misses all through the powerband and has almost no power - but like most tuned ports its not throwing a code, so I'm really stumped. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you check all your connections and vacum lines? maybe you knocked one off when connecting the speedo back up.

Re: Tpi messed up after clearing codes

I wish it was that easy, but unfortunately no. Really there wasn't even anything arround that wire @ all. I am still stumped - I don't know if it has to do with the speedo being hokked back up, or that I cleared the codes.
