I've been have much trouble with this for a long time now. When first cranked up the car idles real rough jumping from 500 to 1000 rpms , after warming up the car then starts to surge and the engine light flashes on and off as it does it. Sometimes when stoppingthe car also stalls. Here is a list of some parts i replaced:

Replace most vacuum lines
Fuel Sending Unit and Pump
Fuel Filter
IAC Valve
Purge Canister
PCV Valves
TPS
Coil Pack
Plugs and Wires
O2 Sensor

After looking around I've read it may be my injectors..any ideas??

Your problem sounds a lot like a problem my friend had with his 89 GTA.. He had a bad MAF sensor.

When you start the car and it's running bad, unplug the MAF.. If it starts running better, then that's a sign the MAF could be bad.

 

its an 89 Formula 350 and no codes are set

had the same problem i put my old tbi iac and it fixxed the problem

it will just idle 100 rpms higher but no more surgeing or stalling

in park it idles around 850 but 600 in gear

are you asking if i have that installed or if i should get it? b/c currently no i have stock pressure regulator
