Sure you can. You also need the part in front for the Camaro air box to fit into, and the two air filters.

Is it possible to cut out that medal piece in our TA's, or will the Camaro one bolt right in?

No you cant, the camaro air inlet doesnt clear the hood.

 

The hood clearance and I think you would have to cut the body.

 

i was thinking about this mod myself but there is a problem with hood clearance

Whoops, ok, forgot about the hood clearance. But the Camaro pieces will bolt into the Firebird body. After all, they're the same car.
