Where to get custom prom??

Does anyone know a very reputable place to have custom proms burned, and perhaps one that offers some sort of reprogramming discount, when future mods are made? I would really like to match my prom to my setup and unfortunelty do not really have the time to really learn how to do it myself. From what I see it is quite complicated and make a mistake and it could cause big problems. Thanks.

Check out www.mustgofaster.net he did a chip for my 87 Trans Am. I have not installed it yet the car's not back up and running but I've heard great things about his programs from Camaroz28.com Messageboard

Jobryan26, thanks for the link, but it takes me to something called rocketchips that appears to be all about computer chips and doesn't seem to say anything about chips for the car. Don't know if you have another link or another lead.

I would have to say that Ed Wright's Fastchips are the best on the market, as soon as I get the $350 or so that I need, I am going to have one burned after my new intake, runners and rear end is in!

how about TPIS?you pay what ever it cost for the custom chip then when you want to upgrade you only pay the difference between the two.say if the chip costs $350 for a level one, when you want to go to level 2 and lets say it's $450 you only pay $100.that's why i'll be getting mine from them

I'd stay away from fastchips if you have a high horsepower combo. Try TPIS or Formato instead. Just my $.02.
