LT4 Hot Cam question......
LT4 Hot Cam question......
just wondering if it will work good in an L98 with stock heads(for now), and if i could go to 1.6 roller rockers with that cam, after i do more intake work, or would it be better to go with the ZZ4 cam and then add the 1.6 rr's, cause im pretty sure the zz4 with 1.6 will work.any ideas??????

Either way you go, you will need new valve springs anyway. I am using the LT4 HOT Cam in my car now, its too big for the way the car is equiped currently. I wouldn't use 1.6 rockers, that brings the lift of the LT4 HOT Cam to .525", which is pretty drastic for a 350 with stock heads. If I was you, I would go with the LT4 HOT Cam, but keep the stock ratio rockers. If you want to go a step up, you can do what I did and get some 1.52 roller rockers from Comp Cams ($200), but I think 1.6s with either cam is too much.

thanks man, im eventually gonna buy new heads and do intake work, but i guess with knowing that the lt4 with 1.6's will work with them after, and without them now, that'd be my best bet, thanks for the info
