fuel rail question?????

I am currently in the process of rebuilding my tpi car. I want to paint the fuel tubes leading into the fuel rail and the regulator. I was wondering if there was any way to remove the tube in the passanger side fuel rail. Also has any one used the TPIS adjustable fuel preasure regulator, If so have you had any problems with it?

DO NOT get the tpis afpr.. its a piece of junk, the vacuum port breaks off very easily.

I believe I have a crane cams AFPR, and it works well. There is only one small problem, but I have a feeling you will run into it any. The little screw that comes out of the top of the regulator is quite difficult to turn especially if the car is running, it came and touched the TPI on my car. Might not for you, but you can solve it with a little grinding. The quality seemed good, and the price is right. I would stay away from TPIS IMHO cause they just seem to make overpriced, low quality items and then try to make them sound like the best. Don't mean to insult anyone, but just my opinion. Good luck.

I am in the process of painting my fuel tubes also. I just wrapped the rail in a plastic bag and then taped off the rest. You can't remove the tubes themselves. I also polished the rails with Mothers mag & aluminum polish and they look fantastic!! Very easy to do...takes maybe an hour.

I have a Holley afpr and it looks great. It has a large ribbed "disk" that you turn by hand to adjust the pressure. I've heard others say that the Holley was the best, so I got one too.
