i got the motor back in and have all them vacuum lines hooked up. it starts up and runs for 2 seconds then dies. i have a question about the electrical connectors, i have all the female connectors hooked to male connectors but there are alot of male connectors left over (3 or 4) and its been a while since i took it apart and cant remember if it was like that before. anyone else have an lb9 5 speed car with extra connectors just hangin out. thanks.

Check your engine grounds. You have two sets of wires on the back side of both heads. I believe its two but I think the driver's side might have three. Make sure the bolt is tight. If I recall properly its a 9/16ths.

You might want to post pics of the loose connections...your description of what isn't connect really lacks substance.
