not car related, but auto Xray related for anyone who has one.

To anyone who has or has used an Auto Xray. I just put new batteries in mine and the screen is really dark, just like a calculator or anything just about that uses this kind of display when you replace the battery.

My question is How the hell do you adjust the brightness/darkness of this? Ive looked through the book and through the different functions of the scanner. I have the one thats a milti scanner for all the vehicles, not just manufacturer specific.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks
Jack

On the inside of the front cover of my AutoXray users manual there is an important notice that instructs you to run your unit for 2 hours to run off the higher than normal voltage that new batteries have. They mention the Duracell Ultra as an example. When the batteries get down to 1.5V the contrast of the display will be normal and you will still have 500 hours of operation left. Hope this helps.
