The computer is the same for 86-89 TPI cars, regardless of engine size. The prom is different though. And a TPI computer will not control a TBI or vice versa. They're completely different
I have been able to run a 350 engine with 22 lbs injectors while the computer thought it was a 305 with 19 lbs injectors.
