LT4 intake

Link for new LT4 intake manifold modified to fit LT1 ($249.00). I've emailed them for the cost of drilling the distributor hole, but no response.

There you go. Buy the manifold, send it to John to be converted, and away you go...

Still cheaper by far than a Miniram...

used LT1 intake = $50. Does the LT4 intake come with fuel rails? LT1 intake with fuel rails $110. New Holley multi port intake $255, $220 something with that 10% off summit thing floatign around. http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...901-101-1.html

Does that LT1 thing come ready to bolt on? No.
Bolt on with any machine work? yes.

Holley intake you can use your existing TB with a eblow from Accel, or you can use a TBI without the injectors, or you can get creative any modify a 4 barrel to 2 barrel car plate adapter to bolt the TB on.

Yup. The you've got to come up with 2 grand for the rest of the system. TB, Fuel rails, Injectors, ECM. No thanks. I've already got an ECM in the car that is doing nothing but running VATS. Might as well put it back to work.

if you are gonna get that creative using the holley intake,i'm sure you can use a drill and spend the few bucks on a bit or two so the lt1 will work.either way you are gonna spend money as i'm sure it's easier to burn a prom for a manifold design that came from thee factory as opposed to the aftermarket.

I was origally going with the holley intake, but was concerned with flow numbers (406 project).
Link with interesting discussion on efi manifolds. Doug F works for Holley.
