you can use the search function and look for "fastest TPI" "fastest 305" etc. and you will get what you need.

Last friday I got a 5.6 0-60 on my buddys g-tech, won't get to the track for a while. I have no idea how much power, this is on a modded auto 305 tpi. I figure thats got to be in the 13s @ 100+, and I am a lot faster than my friend who runs 14.5-14.7s.

with a 0-60 of about 6.5 or so depending on how I launch
againt a stock TPI how much of a race would it be?
only pushing 150-160 hp so kinda limited there

There are several veriables. It depends on if it is a maf or sd car, if it is a 305 it depends on 5 speed or auto and soforth. You would probably beat some of the earlier 305's. The speed density cars 305s and 350s ran in the 14s, some of them pretty low 14s. It just depends on the exact car and the wear on it and whos driving.

If you are running high 14s at 92mph, you should get some good races vs stock 305 TPIs(IROC, Z28s, GTAs, Trans Ams, Formulas) You will kill most stock or modded TBI cars(they look like carb cars), You should be able to beat most stock or lightly modded factory carb cars(early 80s) for that matter. I would fear almost all 350s though unless their car is hurt up or older(85-87) and factory stock to the airbox and exhaust.
If your RX7 is turbo I'm sure you can make if much quicker on the cheap by upping the boost/fuel and modifying exhaust. I know of DSMs(eclipse/talon AWD) running very low 13s on their stock turbos(high 14 sec cars stock).
See sig for 1/4 times. My 60' is generally 2.2x for me(can't drive).

No times here yet. New engine just went in. Matter of fact I'm still hooking things back up tonight. Hope to have it running tonight. You can see my mods in my signature. Hoping to run mid-high 13s.
My stock 305 with over 200,000 miles on it ran 15.6 at the track.
------------------
1986 Trans AM
305 TPI
Well over 200,000+ miles (speedo/odometer non-funtional! Odometer reads 142,000)
4 Wheel Discs
9 bolt Borg Warner Rear (2.77's....oh joy) :P
Completely Stock
Current Project: upgrade to a 355 TPI, 6" rods, 9.7:1 Compression, Stock TPI ported, 24#/hr LTI injectors (cleaned and flowmatched by Cruizin Performance), Hedman Shorty Headers, 3" exhaust with 80 series flowmaster, SBC 993 heads completely redone and modified for 1.6 RR, Comp Cams XE262-14 TPI Cam, Holley AFPR, TPIS airfoil, MSD wires, MSD 6-AL Ignition, Hypertech hot coil.

Hey Man,
1.7 60 foot pretty consistant. 1.8 once and a while, and very rarely 1.6.
Usually get a .450-600 r/t. I run mickey thompson e/t drag tires, 26-8 inchers.

grrrrrr ..... And now I won't have any until at least Spring '02 .......
Recent run of 13.31 @ 111.2 with a G-tech. Had to roll into the throttle and it still hazed the tires through first and into second a bit on that run. (see link to site in sig for mods)

Just another fun one to throw in here....
:
I won one of those 'Pass It On' promos that Pontiac has going where they 'toss you the keys' to a Pontiac for a week, last weekend.... I went to a Minnesota Wild Hockey game (sucked, we got spanked by the Canucks 5 - 0
) for free and did a little shootout deal during the second intermission where I beat the other three contestants (I RULE!!
). So I got a 2002 Grand Am GT 4 door with the 3400 Ram Air V6 to drive for a week..... I flogged it thoroughly for this last week
and pulled many G-tech passes with it....
Best time: 15.51 @ 92.1 mph.
Not too bad for a 4 door sedan, or mid-size or whatever it is classified as......
