Re: coolent leak by starter?

I had this same problem, a very slow drip from the starter area. Not much, but just enough to keep a damp spot on the garage floor. I'm assuming it's rusty freeze plugs since I couldn't find a leak anywhere else. It didn't need pressure, it dripped even when the engine was stone cold. Strangely, I flushed the radiator and the leak stopped, but it will probably be back eventually.
