Injector thoughts & opinions

I am in need of some new injectors for my 89 iroc with a 350 tpi. I have been searching around for what options I have. Found alot of info right here on this site. Read alot of different views on what injectors to use. I just want to keep my iroc stock with the 22 lb injectors. I found a set from a place called fiveo motorsports. They call them a yellow top and seem to be a good deal. Has anyone used these injectors? I dont want to go to 24 lb or higher injectors since I have read that they can make the engine run rich and you might have to burn a chip. Any other recommendations would be great. Need some insite. Thanks.

Re: Injector thoughts & opinions

I just replaced the injectors on my '92. I used a set of Bosch design 3 injectors from http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/shop/ If you check on corvetteforum.com you will find that Jon has a great product and a great reputation. I can tell from my own experience that the injectors arrived with in 2 days, performed flawlessly, and have given the car snappier throttle response.

Re: Injector thoughts & opinions

Thanks for the reply. I have looked at those injectors on that web site and they look like good ones. I am trying to see what ones people are using so I can get an idea what ones I want to use. I just want to know what your experience is with the injectors people using and how did it make your car run.

Buy these ones : http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/sh...&productId=134
they cost 169,95 and its the Bosch III modified to fit directly on our cars (same height as stock) They have a great spray pattern and they flow exactly the same (flowmatched) Jon leaves 3 years warranty on them (got mine today, will install them next week, have seen this injectors before and they do make miracles) just because they have such a fine and good spray pattern,
So call Jon up and he will help you with the injectors.

I really recommend Jon when you need injectors.

Hey fellow (89'ers) lol. I'm close to buying injectors real soon, mine are already removed. Was really leaning towards the five o yellow tops. I was a little concerned though as to how much less the Bosch III are. It seemed kinda fishy. Now i think i'm convinced they'll work just fine. Placing my order soon! Anybody else used em???

Re: Injector thoughts & opinions

Thanks for all the info guys. This is a real help. I've been hearing that the fuelinjectorconnection web site is a good place to buy injectors and the quality looks great. That might be the place that I buy from. Heard about the summit injectors. Wasnt planning on buying those. The yellow top injectors from fiveo looks like nice injectors but I dont know if I want to spend that much. I might though when I get all the info I can on what I want to get. Thanks for replying and I'd still like to hear more.

Jon´s Bosch III injectors are the best, you WONT be disappointed , I promise that They have a great spray pattern and are flowmatched. He just sells them for 169,95 to make a point. They are great, thats why he can leave 3 years warranty on them. No one else does that. Heres a pic on the Bosch III injectors..

Re: Injector thoughts & opinions

I bought my 36 lb injectors from fiveo motorsports and have had no problems. Although I do program my own chips.

Supposedly, 24 lb injectors on a 350 don't need to be programmed. You'll run on the edge of what the ECM can compensate for but.....depends on how close you want to be.
