305 TPI to 350 TPI

Hi,

Im new here, and im happy to join the group

Thank you for your help

I buy a beginning project, Camaro 1986 305 TPI

Inside the car

Rebuilt a 355, flat top piston with valve relief, 416 head with 1.94 and 1.60 valve ,the machine shop tell is 10.5:1 compression
He have a mild cam and rebuilt injector 19 lbs

The guy tell me ,just use the TPI 305 setup, ECM,PROM,ESC Module and knock sensor from a 305 tpi and everything run ok

after read some site in internet , i see i need change the prom, esc module and knock sensor from the 350

I need advice before , i finish connect everything

If i need use new Prom, someone can help me to program the PROM, or a company can program my prom

Thank you very much

Éric

Re: 305 TPI to 350 TPI

I think you need 24 lbs injectors, I'm pretty sure everything is the same but the computer is programed different, but the factory TPI setup doesn't allow good airflow for a 350 to make some good power.

"after read some site in internet , i see i need change the prom, esc module and knock sensor from the 350"

This is correct, you should also change your injectors to the stock 22lbers, or change you injector constant to 19 in the prom.
