I was wondering if anyone out there is running 30lb injectors? I have a 383 with ZZ4 cam,SLP runners,SLP headers 1 3/4, SLP cold air intake,52 MM throttle body,air foil,3" hooker cat back, 89 corvette heads reworked.
If so what has to be done to run them?

 

I have a set of 30 lbs accel injectors. I know they are not the best but they can supply a constant 48 psi throughout the powerband

 

Yes and you will need a custom tune.

 

I run them on a 406, ford 30lbs

 

I am running 33 lb injectors.
I am using the super aujp.

Results in the sig.

 

i run 30ib injectors too but you just have to adjust the tune for them.

 

Well thats good to know.I put a set in but the car does not run right.I did have a chip burned for them and that my be the problem.The guy who burned it burnt my last chip and the car ran great.He is going to make another one and see if it is better. I can not keep the car running less than 2500rpm and get a back fire up the tune port once in a while. I pulled a few plugs and they are black and damp. The plugs are brand new. I ran the car maybe 3 minutes total time so far. I have 45lbs at the fuel rail and a new high volume pump in the tank.
