Trying to replace o-rings on injectors...need help.

I need to replace the o-rings on my injectors but instead of the removable caps there is an aluminum cap that doesn't appear to be removable. Is there a way to get this off so I can replace the three o-rings or do I need to buy all new injectors.

Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks

There are only two o-rings on each injector. One on the top and one on the bottom. The aluminum pintle caps cannot be removed. You can pry off the old o-rings with a small screwdriver. The new o-rings will be pliable and can be installed by stretching them over the aluminum pintle caps on the bottom of the injectors. No need to buy new injectors just because the o-rings need replacing.

I can get the rubber o-rings on with no problem but the little plastic yellow ring also has to go over the aluminum head and it won't fit...any suggestions there?

The plastic spacers don't need to be replaced. They only space the o-ring so it is in the correct position.

The plastic o ring is missing on one of my injectors though. Do you think I will have to buy a new one or are they not necessary.
