Re: coil voltage

prob in the 30,000-36,000 range. aftermarket for V8 like MSD blaster is 48,000. accel is bout the same, hypertech has a 52,000V. i would think the stock v6 would be the same as the stock v8.

Re: coil voltage

Stock HEI is ~38,000 volts, I would imagine the v6 coil would be somewhere in the same neighborhood.

Re: coil voltage

i really doubt its 60,000V... i dont beleive anything the JCW says... i would think its prob in the 40,000's range. still it will run good. it runs fine with the stocker.

most of the aftermarkets dont go above 50,000. 52,000 being the most ive seen. i dont even think that the MSD boxes etc go up to 60,000V

Re: coil voltage

yea i dont believe it sry, looks too cheap. why a 60,000 from JCW when others like MSD, mallory, pertronix, accel etc dont run that high and there prices are more steep... i kno its all bout the name but still id be weary... still tho ur engine should run fine if not better with it.
