Injector issue
So first off my car is an 89 iroc with a 305. My number 4 injector is misfiring and was thinking about replacing all of them, any suggestions on brand and size? I know some people say stick to 19s but some people say 21s are ok...let me know what you think should go in and if you would still drive it...currently you only notice it at idle and in 5th at 40 so shoot me what you guys think, thanks

Re: Injector issue
FIC is our one stop shop for fuel injectors. The best price I found on a set, with no mods needed to install.

Re: Injector issue
i agree also. he has 100's of customers here. Never a complaint and the customer service is hard to beat. The quality of the Bosch injector is far superior over any other replacement. My car has never run better since I put in the Bosch gen 3 injector. They also do some mod to the base so it fits with no problem,

Yeah he was very nice to me.
Now as soon as I can get my intake parts powder coated I will be putting them in. Just hard to find the time to get them done.

Re: Injector issue
I can take from 4 to 6 hrs if you take your time to make sure you do it properly. Also depends on the last time it was taken down to the injectors. Plus if you have all the proper tools or not. You may need to clean th runners and plenum and prep them for the new install.
It took me about 1 1/2 to get it down to take out the injectors. After I went to get a few tools I did not have.

Re: Injector issue
If you have all the correct tools, gaskets, etc to do the job, it can be done in about 2 hours. I did a full swap to the FIC Bosch III's last weekend in about 2 hours to tear it down, put the new ones in, reassemble and start driving.
