Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator: Purchased
So last week i bought a BBK afpr and the Accel Fuel Pressure Gage. I tried to install the gage and that piece of sh*t is nothing more than an example of **** poor engineering. Its like they never even tested it out, they just drew it up on a whiteboard and said lets make that. STUPID
.
anyways so im gonna try to tweek my fuel pressure, any tips on doing this?
What are your takes on the BBK afpr?

What is wrong with the gauge to begin with?
If you don't like something, send it back with a letter that includes your feedback. Most companies want to know your feedback and will treat you right if you spend some time to explain your issues to them.
I simply hooked my AFPR up with a separate hand held FP gauge, very easy to hook up to the valve to test, then can put it away when I'm done.

wasnt too bad of an install. Stock i was at 42 PSI with the engine off. now im at 48 PSI and it runs a little smoother. I haven't really had a chance to go WOT yet , but well see. I know for sure that the car still needs a tune, because the problem still persists. I don't know if i should start a new thread or what but here it goes.
When i change from no throttle coast --to-- any throttle whatsoever, there is a loud clunk and a jerk to go along with it. sometimes it will start bucking and jerking the car back and forth, ( i dont know if this still happens since the AFPR...) does anyone have any ideas?? Currently im running the stock chip, but stock it had a 305 now its a 350 and bigger injectors-supposedly...
i tried to go through Tbichips.com but twice they both were not very good...
any ideas or suggestions???

good thought but ive replaced the tranny mount motor mounts, cap, rotor (and they are solid), ignition module, tranny fluid, diff fluid, fuel filter, air filter oil filter, air freshener, oil, sound system, and the damn thing still does it!!!
I may have had a revelation though, while doing the research on which injctors i have, (a half hour ago) i found out that the previous owner lied about putting bigger injectors in, right now they ar the Rochester 19 lb/hr 17090882's that the 305 came with!!!!! now with a 350 in it, they are killing the performance and gas mileage!!!!

Inc. inj. ecm and memcal.
If the engine has modifications like a bigger cam for example then yes,the sd tpi will need a tune.
Sounds to me maybe(perhaps) you have at least one bad inj.
unplug them with the engine cool and check them with an ohmmeter set to the 2k setting and record the differences.

So if these injectors are in good working order...
then,
--i have heard of EFI hotrodders intentionally going with a smaller injector and cranking the fuel pressure allowing the fuel to atomize more efficiently...
any experiences?

I am little confused - I see 3/10 of an ohm not 3 ohms. That would not even be seen by the injector driver circuit, down in the noise.

I have not heard of that - I have the larger injectors with the pressure higher. I am trying to get more fuel in the engine. The injectors today atomize the fuel extremely well. If you are looking for fuel economy that may work but if you are looking for HP, more fuel (to a limit).
